The village of St Priest les Fougeres, 5 minutes away, has a patisserie with tea rooms and hosts village fetes and night markets during the summer. Limoges airport is 45 minutes away and Perigueux city, capital of the Perigord, is 45 minutes away. Both the cities of Limoges and Perigueux can be reached by train from La Coquille or by car on the N21.
