Both Thiviers and St Yrieix la Perche are approximately 15 minutes drive away where you will find bigger supermarkets, train stations, and weekly markets.
The area is popular in the summer months with local man made beaches on lakes, fishing lakes, walking and cycling trails and historical villages to explore.
